Stay near the Smithsonian National Zoo with Sojourn

My husband and I came to DC to help move my son move apartments so we had a car full of stuff. The reserved parking spot in back of the unit was a lifesaver. There was a guard at the end of the alley which made us feel even better about leaving it parked outside overnight. The neighborhood couldn't be better or safer. It's steps from the Senate office buildings and very close to the Capitol so lots of guards around. The Metro (Orange,Blue,Silver lines) is less than a block away. The DC Metro is the fastest way to get around town and very safe! The neighborhood is historic and quiet but still walkable to restaurants. The unit is lovely and Sojourn's team could not have been nicer or more accomodating. We arrived earlier than expected, and would have just left our luggage but Sojourn was extremely gracious and checked to see if the unit was clean and ready minutes after my call. The unit was spotless, linens excellent,bed very comfortable, and the patio great. We will be back!
