The fully equipped kitchen comes with everything you need to prepare a meal—from a stovetop and oven to a coffee maker and microwave. A compact dining nook offers the ideal spot for morning coffee or an intimate dinner. Relax on the plush sofa while streaming your favorite shows on the wall-mounted Smart TV, or unwind after a day exploring DC in the cozy double bed with soft linens.

From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance or during long term stays, a showing to prospective tenants. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

Traveling with little ones? We’re happy to offer Pack & Plays and high chairs for your convenience. These items must be reserved in advance and are available for a $25 rental fee per item.

Pet Policy
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

Amenities
Great location! The place felt clean and there were little touches like water in the fridge and Netflix accounts that were already on the TV. From the beginning, the smell of pesticides was strong. Air fresheners couldn’t mask it. I often had headaches and once the smell was so strong I became nauseous. I opened the windows, but because the window screens do not fit properly, centipedes came rushing in. I saw rats around the front steps of the building. There were cockroaches in the unit. The ceilings are thin and you can hear the residents in the unit above you, including their dog. The WiFi did not work for the first two weeks. There were no baking trays provided for oven use. The shower drain was clogged from previous use and water would build up in the tub despite my attempts to unclog. Other residents in the building often left the external door ajar, allowing unrestricted entry. Sojourn was responsive when I reached out for assistance, but this place is ultimately not suitable for living. In the end, I requested that the remaining weeks of my stay be canceled, which Sojourn obliged. Perfect location. Many great places to eat. Easy walk to attractions such White House and Mall or easy to grab uber right in front. While building is older it was super clean. I was able to work from the room with good internet for the month I was there. In room washer and dryer, which worked very well, was a plus. A double bed might not work out well for some couples but it was comfy with nice bedding. When I had questions they were answered within 15 minutes. I never felt unsafe which is important as a woman traveling alone. Shower always with hot water and acceptable water pressure. Full fridge was great to have. Because it’s an older space there is a lack of sockets but there are several multi plug extensions that solved any initial issues. And there is ample lighting throughout the space. I come to DC often and this will always be my first choice. The place was perfect for my work trip— especially the full kitchen and laundry! Would definitely rebook.
