Great stay in a great location. Cool older building with a lot of character. We comfortably stayed as a family of 6. Loved this trip to DC. Can’t wait to come back.

Our stay was very good. The place was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space for a large family (about 6–8 people). The nights were very quiet, which made it easy to rest. Parking is located in the back on gravel and fits about 2–3 cars. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

Sojourn

Everything as described - fantastic apartment for a family in an amazing neighborhood, a block from the Woodley Park metro station.  Communication was both proactive and extremely responsive.  Unlike most Airbnbs, no ridiculous check out expectations of "do half the job for which we're also supposedly paying our maid service".  They already warn but this apartment is on the 3rd floor of a building with no elevators, so keep that in mind when booking, it wasn't an issue for us.  The apartment itself is newly renovated and is very well done.  Lots of restaurants about a block away.  Definitely would stay here again!

Booked a stay for my family of 5, with kids aged 5, 10 & 11. I had a little concern about our 5yo and his ability to keep up during a long few days of walking, seeing all of the sights DC has to offer, but with the close proximity to Union Station, we could access anywhere in the city with ease, preserving precious energy. The apartment itself was as described. While missing the character that often comes with renting an actual home, it had more of a hotel feel, and I don’t mean that in a bad way at all. Everything was clean and there were plenty of kitchen tools to allow us to prepare breakfasts and dinners during our stay. Would 100% stay here again.

Wonderful stay; right in between DuPont circle and Adam’s Morgan, so there is lots to do and good food options around. The area felt very safe and even at night — especially as a queer couple. One flaw is the small shower with no shelving. Especially if trying to keep hair dry, it was fairly tricky bending down to grab soap from the floor. A small inconvenience, but may be more difficult for those with a larger body build. Hopefully the host will soon add in a shower caddy

I had some problems at the start of the stay — vacuum smell, slow wifi that wouldn’t support zoom calls, issues with heating in the living room space (due to the very cold winter weather). However, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. They changed my wifi router and gave me a new heater and vacuum. All the issues above were addressed and I’m very thankful for their help. Overall, the place was of good value and I would recommend.

Fantastic location, felt very safe and walkable. Metro stop close by and plenty of restaurants and facilities nearby. The team was very responsive, we had several issues during the stay but they helped quickly. Apartment was spacious and very well equipped, with lots of helpful extras like detergent, an iron and steamer and two hair dryers. Note that the only full bathroom is only accessible through the master bedroom. There are a lot of steps to get up to the apartment so bear that in mind. It was also a little dated but the amazing location made up for it!

We had a really great 4-night stay here. The place was spotless and the kitchen was well-stocked and easy to use, which we appreciated more than expected. The neighborhood was a highlight too — lots of good food options nearby and easy to get around. Nothing felt staged or overdone, it was just a comfortable, clean space in a great location. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid base to explore from.

My daughter and I stayed here in March for 5 nights. Easy to find, clear instructions and very prompt responses with any questions. Apartment and surroundings felt safe and secure. The walk from the Dupont Circle metro was maybe 8 minutes with our luggage. Bike share located steps from apartment which we used every day and grocery store 1.5 blocks. Restaurants abound within walking distance. Full kitchen and cookware. It was an excellent place to land after being out all day. It had extra blankets, towels and plenty of pillows. Wifi worked great. Despite being located on the first floor and large windows, it still felt a little dark, but my personal preference is lots of natural sunlight. The bathroom was off the kitchen which felt a little odd, but did not negatively impact our stay. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash was a nice touch. I appreciated that there was no list of check out requirements that most AirBnb requires--we simply packed up and left. 100% would stay again!

We had a great stay at Sojourn’s place! It was the perfect space for a couple and our small dog. The location was perfect, super walkable to great restaurants and the metro station. The neighborhood in general is a great place to stay while visiting DC. The bed was extremely comfortable and had the best bedding we’ve ever had at an Airbnb, and the shower was very nice as well. Some small areas of improvement would be that there is no doormat so it was tough not to track mud through the place on a rainy day, which was a bit annoying considering the bed is so close to the entrance. Also there is an extremely narrow staircase to the entrance itself which was a bit annoying when unloading our belongings - our dog’s crate fit with only a few millimeters to spare. Overall though, great place, great location, great communicative hosts. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful spot. I would stay at this house again. The bunk bed room does not have a door, but our child gets up early, so it did not bother us. The uneven ground in the back was difficult for my elderly father to navigate, so just keep that in mind if you have a mobility-impaired person in your party who'd like to go out near the water and not just stay on the back patio.
