Description
A chic beach shack. This simple home is steps to toes in the sand and comes with great beach chairs. A 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment fully appointed for short or long term stays. The apartment has a queen bed feather pillows, sevenfold towels, all weather down duvets, central heat and air, a queen sofa bed with linens, and a fabulous shared beach front patio deck. Walk out your door turn right and walk onto the beach. Enjoy epic Chesapeake bay sunsets and the luxury of a quiet safe beach.
Beach Construction Notice:
The City of Norfolk will begin a sand replacement project on Toler Place and Willoughby Beach (from 11th View St to the terminal groin) in response to significant erosion from recent high tides. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning in late May 2025 and continuing through late July 2025. You will have to use the beach from 11th Bay and down to enjoy the beach.
Please be aware that the impacted section of the beach will be closed during work hours but will reopen in the evenings and on weekends. Alternate access to the beach is available via 11th View St and other nearby entry points.
All Sojourn cleaners are certified in cleaning practices based on guidelines from The World Health Organization, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, US Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and the US Food and Drug Administration.
Pets allowed. $75 per pet per week. Pet fee is requested after booking. Each apartment gets two parking spaces. Please request permission for more than 2 cars. (Please note this home has an induction cook top and convection oven)

Willoughby Spit is a great neighborhood to check out on foot or bike with water on both sides! Our side contains over 7 miles of uncrowded and awesome beaches with small waves right on the Chesapeake Bay.

From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance or during long term stays, a showing to prospective tenants. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

Traveling with little ones? We’re happy to offer Pack & Plays and high chairs for your convenience. These items must be reserved in advance and are available for a $25 rental fee per item.

Sojourn and the property owner are not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or injury involving your vehicle or its contents. Pet Policy
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

Pros:
Overall I had a good stay here. Nicole, Dave, Joe, and Cinsere were all great! Location was next to the beach, highway, and cheap gas. You can easily walk to get food if you don’t have a car. Didn’t have to do anything for check out.
Cons:
•If your car does not have a backup camera, parking will be your worst nightmare. Parking is tight and cramped here, especially on weekends. If someone is in the spot you paid money to park in, management will tell you to park someplace else 🙂.
•Laundry is located in the building next door and you have to pay (quarters only)
•No outlet in bathroom. You have to do your hair on the floor of the room or in the kitchen. Trenton

Clean neat place. Good customer service. Location wasnt to great. Place had an old cigarette smell. But aside from that great place. Clean, pretty, and neat. Mainly just the outside and the smell thats an issue. Access to the beach is a little difficult but not to bad. Beach is iffy but not horrible. Ok stay. Great place! Private beach right outside! Not one complaint! Wife and I enjoyed our time staying the property! Samuel
