After booking your stay with us, we kindly ask our guests to complete a rental agreement. This is a standard procedure designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all parties involved in renting homes in North Carolina. When signing the rental agreement, you are agreeing to share this agreement and the house rules with all parties that will be on the property during your stay. This rental agreement applies to "everyone" staying or visiting the property. If you are booking on Airbnb, you will receive a link to the rental agreement in the Airbnb app.
★ TRUST & SAFETY FEE ★
Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home and its contents are protected during the stay.
★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★
Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
★ POOLS & HOT TUBS ★
The pool and hot are open seasonally from May 15-October 15.
★ NOT A PET-FRIENDLY HOME ★
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them. Should you bring pets without obtaining prior permission from the host, there will be a $400 infraction fee, and your stay will be subject to cancellation with no refund and an expedited eviction.
★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside of the home. If you smoke outside the home, please clean up after.
★ SECURITY CAMERAS ★
All of our homes have exterior security cameras for the safety and security of our guests. Exterior cameras are pointed at areas of ingress and egress from the home.
★ NO THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS ★
For the safety and tranquility of our guests and neighbors, we strictly prohibit third-party bookings. The person making the reservation must be the one staying at the property.
★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its condition for future guests and your return visits. We do not accept reservations from individuals under the age of 25, especially for high school or college parties.

Exterior security cameras on property
We had an amazing family vacation in Carolla! This three story home and its location were perfect for our three-generation family. We had easy access to the beach, shopping, and many wonderful restaurants. Our hosts were always responsive. They were a pleasure to deal with from our initial booking through our entire stay. We can’t wait to return next summer! Beautiful and comfortable home in an amazing location! We loved the main floor which had tons of comfortable seating options for our group of 12. We were within walking distance of the dunes on the 4x4 beach and wild horses, and a short bike ride to coffee and smoothies. Excellent communication and fast response times with our host. We loved our stay! We had an amazing stay with three generations of family under one roof! Incredible views of the water with comfortable seating and an expansive family room area. Perfect access to the beach, decks for every preference (full sun, covered, private) and a really nice private pool. Kitchen was large and could accommodate such a large group. We made memories that will last a lifetime! Our family of five adults and two young children thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing week at Swept Away. We loved the light throughout the house, the comfortable beds, the unbeatable location and privacy. There was more than enough room for everyone, plenty of gathering places and places to chill alone. The pool, hot tub, and outdoor showers got a lot of use!
We cooked many meals in the well-equipped kitchen or on the grill. The direct access to the beach was so convenient. The one problem we had was with the internet going out, but the rental contact promptly responded to us and walked us through restoration.
