This was a great last minute stay at the Bay. The beds and linens were incredibly comfortable, more than most hotels. The space was perfect for our family and pup needs. Note there is not direct beach access as pictured, but the public access borders the property. Also note this is the top “apartment” (top private floor of a house) which provided peaceful and serene views and vibes. Sojourn was prompt and helpful in communication. Pack a few extra beach trowels as only 2 available. We would surely stay again.

If I could give this place zero stars I would because the photos aren’t accurate & the hosts commit fraud. The house needs a lot of work. They gave it the landlord special, painting white paint over bugs stains and rusted hardware. From broken cabinets to dirty tubs& vents to missingcurtains, old dirty furniture and weird funky smells upon arrival the place was a nogo. My family had to stay here as our insurance booked us because our home is under renovation. However these hosts use a strategic method to bully more money out of guests. They wait until13 days after your stay so that you only have 24 hours before it’s pushed up to airbnb support and they can obtain whatever outrageous fees from the preexisting damage theyaccuse you of. They charge you those huge fees so they can fund the repairs of the property. The hosts are shady and this property is not updated. They down even upkeep the lawn or parking lot. If you stay make sure to get plenty of pictures and vids. Quit scamming!

Sojourn is a wonderful company to work with, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at another one of their properties, but this one not so much. This unit is a wonderful place to stay short term but longer term stays may get a little trying. I stayed here for 4 months for work during the off-season, so traffic was light which was lovely, but the frequent storms coming off the bay, while gorgeous, made for a very drafty and cold house. The house itself is quite old and the bay side of the house remains nice and cool (or cold depending on the time of year) and the front of the house stays warm or even hot. Also, even though the two floors are separated by a securely locked door, there is little to no sound proofing and you will hear EVERYTHING (and smell everything if your neighbors are cooking). There's also a lot of construction going on with the highway and the tunnel with construction vehicles passing the house and shaking it as they go by.
