Great apartment in beautiful area of DC! Very walkable, very safe. The apartment was very clean and had all the amenities you could need! Would recommend!

Fabulous location, but I left feeling somewhat scammed. The photos of the listing when I booked only partially matched what was inside when I arrived. I also received two texts from Team during my stay asking for last-minute entry (literally 30 minutes before they wanted to come in) to show the apartment to unidentified strangers. Above all, to spend over $5000 on an AirB&B to find out that the furniture had been changed and many decorations removed was, honestly, nauseating. The apartment is much more barren than shown and there are some clear downgrades from the original photos - a cheap IKEA table, no Persian rug, fewer lamps, and a teal pull-out couch that they claimed as new, but with a horrible, large stain on it. On top of this, the interior did not feel very clean. The paint is flaking, a screen is slashed, there are cobwebs over some of the windows (one of them, near the bed, does not lock), and dirt has accumulated in the corners and the floorboards. Nicole is very kind and offered me some compensation. I really wanted to write a better review, but if I am honest with myself I am relieved my stay is over.

Die Betreuung durch team war super, schnelle Reaktionen, gute Infos, klare Regeln. Das Appartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünscht, es fehlte wirklich nichts. Die Lage ist hervorragend zentral und man findet in der Umgebung alles, was man braucht incl. einer Vielzahl von Restaurants.

Great location. You really are in DuPont Circle versus Adams Morgan. The heart of DuPont is a five minute walk and the heart of Adams Morgan is 10-15 minute walk. The property is pleasant and the lodging itself very comfortable. Be aware that the noise level is steady until late at night. Because you are near "the action" there is a steady stream of cars, trucks, people walking and talking just outside on the sidewalk and street around the corner property. The property itself is a wonderful old house, which of course, means it's a bit noisy too. You hear guests up and and down the stairs and walking in their rooms. Nothing that would cause us to not book there again. If you like the vibrancy of culture, arts, music, history, intellect, fun in an historic, beautiful DC neighborhood, this is a very good option.

We stayed here 27 days. It is an apartment in a building that (I was told) is all AirBNBs. So a lot of people coming in and out. While our unit doesn’t have a lot of changeover, that doesn’t appear to be true for the other units in the building. The location is excellent. Less that 10 minutes to the DuPont Circle metro, and many, many bars, restaurants, and shops nearby, even though the area around the unit is residential. As to the unit itself, our feelings are mixed. The positives are that is was well stocked with kitchen amenities, shampoo, laundry and dishwasher detergent, etc. The unit was clean (at least surface clean), and the management company for the apartment is responsive (we had our issues fixed the same day). The bed is big and is on the soft side. The apartment feels roomy and not cramped. The unit has many windows and gets lots of light and is on the first floor of the building, so not much stair climbing. There are several negatives. As has been noted by other reviewers, the furniture is not what is pictured. While functional, it is not nearly as nice. Also some of the rugs pictured are missing. There is only one useful mirror which is medicine cabinet, but it is mounted so high that I, at 5 feet tall, can only see my neck and above. However, the unit really needs a deep clean and repainting – windows are filthy and some screens are torn; white areas around switches have gone gray from repeated touches. The hardwood floors, although they have been swept, have embedded dirt (wipe up some water from the floor and the paper towel is dark gray). Chipped paint is everywhere. The heating system (we were here in February) is very loud when it comes on. Also, perhaps due to the windows in the bedroom, it is always several degrees colder than the living room. The biggest problem is noise. Any noise from the outside, whether the front door, hallway, or outside is completely audible. And since the unit above also has hardwood floors, we heard every footstep, scrape of moving furniture, and often the conversations. If you’re looking for a quiet residential unit, this is not a good choice. If you’re looking for convenience and being in the city, this is a good choice.

Great location near Dupont! The apartment is spacious and brightly lit. The neighborhood is safe, quiet, and very close to the metro, restaurants, and a small market. The kitchen is furnished enough for light cooking, although not enough to make a big meal. We were surprised to find that almost all the furniture was different from the photos, although not a big deal since the actual furniture was just fine. We did struggle with broken appliances (such as a broken fridge and dishwasher that weren't repaired for a week or two), although the team did respond to texts and emails promptly. The property is managed by a corporate rental management service, so we interacted with multiple people throughout our stay. For what it's worth, we discovered there are noise detectors in the building/unit after a 1AM text asked us to quiet down or forfeit our reservation -- which must have been another neighbor or a glitch, since we weren't in the unit that night.
