We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them. Should you bring pets without obtaining prior permission from the host, there will be a $400 infraction fee, and your stay will be subject to cancellation with no refund and an expedited eviction.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside of the home. If you smoke outside the home, please clean up after.

All of our homes have exterior security cameras for the safety and security of our guests. Exterior cameras are pointed at areas of ingress and egress from the home.

This was the first time our family meet together in the Outer Banks and this home was great for its location and wonderful amenities. Definite coastal vibe and squeaky clean. Loved the three and a half baths , large rooms and decks. Surrounded by trees next to a park made the house seem very private (even though it was close to the highway) and it was also close to the sound and beach. It was a good central location to explore the Outer Banks and its notable sights. It was also great to enjoy the hot tub after a busy day exploring! We had an enjoyable 5 days and highly recommend this “Hideway”!<br/>Thanks, Frank and Colleen We had a wonderful stay on this property. We were a party of 8 and the space was perfect. Everything was clean and honestly had almost anything you would need. We stayed for 5 days/4 nights, and did a combination of dining out and cooking at the house. There are multiple grocery stores just a few minutes drive. <br/>Location was central to lots of fun activities. Beach is close by (we drove as there is a busy road to cross), NC Aquarium is about 35 min away and H2OBX Waterpark is about 20 min away. The park in front of the house is perfect for a walk with small playground for littles. <br/>Overall I highly recommend and would come again! This house was fantastic, from the high quality mattresses to the amazing soaking tub in the master bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked and there was ample seating at the table and couches. So much was provided, including high quality shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap and lotion. <br/>I was there with my 18 year old son and five of his friends and teenage boys even commented to me how nice the house was. The hot tub was appreciated, we were close to so many things: the beach, great restaurants, mini-golf, escape rooms and many grocery options. <br/>I will note (without taking away any stars because the house itself was AMAZING!) that in the summer months walking to the beach access is not advisable because you have to cross HWY 158 (which is four BUSY lanes) and there is no light nearby to give you a fighting chance. But it's a super quick drive over and the house makes up for the fact that you'd need to drive. <br/>When my family goes back I'll look to see if this home is open! Sojourn was very responsive! We had a little accident with the bathtub and they were very kind and understanding! Check-in was so easy! House layout was great for families! As mom, I stayed all the way down stairs, the kids stayed on the middle level and then the family room and kitchen and family room are on the top floor. Clean and fresh decoration. Tons of games to play! Easy for the kids to hook any gaming system to the tv! All you need to cook in! Beach chairs to use! Hot tub easy to use! <br/>All in all it was a great house for our family and we would book again for certain! Thank you for a great stay!
