This lower level apartment of a historic Capitol Hill row house is centrally located to the US Capitol, the Navy Yard water front, Nationals stadium, three metro stations and great dining options on Barracks Row.
It’s always professionally cleaned so you can take comfort in a welcoming environment when you arrive.
This lower level studio apartment just completed a full renovation in March of 2022. It is equipped with a comfortable queen bed, sealy mattress brand lie flat couch, full kitchenette, full bathroom and laundry. We provide coffee and tea for you to start your day. This is the perfect setup for couples or a solo traveler.
The queen bed is extremely comfortable. The fold out couch is a sealy-mattress brand lie flat couch that also serves as a comfortable full size mattress.
You'll have complete access to the separate lower level apartment and will have access to the front patio and bench.
Entering the apartment requires walking down a short half spiral staircase (a couple of the steps are narrow near the center). The studio opens with a digital key pad combination that you'll receive the day prior to checkin.
We live right upstairs and are happy to help out in anyway. Everything is setup for your self check-in, but should you need any help or have any questions please don't hesitate to reach out.
We are located in the Capitol Hill Historic District. We are conveniently located close to the US capitol, the Navy Yard Water Front, Nat's Stadium, three metro stations and a variety of dining locations.
We are conveniently located within 10 minutes walking to three different metro stops that give you access to the Blue/Orange/Silver/Green lines. We are one block away from a capitol bikeshare docking station. The studio is great walking distance to many locations.
Parking: Street parking is free over night from 9 pm to 7 am. Parking is also free on Sunday’s and all federal holidays. All other times there is a free two hour parking limit.... stay longer than two hours and you could possibly get a ticket.
If you are bringing a car you can also park long term at the Regan National Airport, Union Station or find a spot on the Park Hero app. The Whole Foods three blocks from our house has overnight parking available for $44.
Working Remote: If you are looking to do a little work while in town we have fast WiFi available for your use. You can work at the high top table or we also have a portable lap desk available for your use if you'd rather work form the couch or bed.
About Us: We are a family of four that live upstairs. We have one toddler and a dog. If we can be of any help to make your stay more comfortable please let us know. Also checkout our guidebook with all our favorite local things to do that are in walking distance of our home.
Other things to note: In the early evening you may hear us moving around upstairs before we put our boys to bed around 7:30 pm. You may also hear us on the weekends during the day. Our friendly golden doodle dog occasionally makes noise, but usually never more than for a few seconds.View More
