1) Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations.
Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver. Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
6) Guests with mobility issues should know that the staircase is steep and narrow and that the rim of the bathtub is thigh-high. Also, if you have issues with noise or ambient light at night, pack earplugs and an eye mask - it's shared space, and the hallway light peeks in over the transom.
5) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

Centrally located in dupont circle- dont miss the flea market on sundays right on the same corner! Super comfy bed and pull out is great with clean linens ready! super clean! definitely opt for the parking option! Terrific location steps from DuPont Circle. We stayed as a family vacation for six days. Only complaint is the lack of outlets (old building) and some plumbing issues (both kitchen sink and bathtub barely drained). The plumbing issues was offered to be resolved during our stay but we weren’t able to align on a time for the plumber to be onsite. Overall great place in an awesome neighborhood… would recommend to family/friends. My stay was fantastic! I was there to have a surgery and wanted somewhere that had plenty of space for me to relax but give my significant other walkable things to do. Felt right at home and would stay again.
Only extra that would have been nice is included parking behind the building. I had to pay extra for parking 5-10 minutes away and the location changed and ultimately needed to be refunded because the space promised always had a car parked in it.
It is a busy city so totally get it but for folks coming from the suburbs for the first time and not aware of the DC area (myself), they may not realize the parking element and would be helpful to write about it in the listing. Very nice BASEMENT apartment.
Water pressure & temperature were amazing. Nice appliances & luxury linens. Bed was extremely comfortable, slept great all 8 nights! Lack of frantic clean up on the last day was very nice. Instructions to leave as is and walk out the door. Great touch.
Dupont Circle location super convenient, but with city noises (garbage collection twice, lots of sirens). A local homeless person banged on the fence 6 feet from the back door 3 nights in a row. However, there is a metal safety gate in front of the back door, so felt safe. Everything was nicely clean, but couch was very dirty & stained. Needs deep cleaning or replacing.
There is a dehumidifier which is absolutely necessary, but no comment on how to care for it. It needed to be emptied every 8 hrs because it was very full. That being said it helped quite a bit once we figured it out.
I would come back again, but a few bumps need attention.
