Description
Your new home is steps to toes in the sand. This 1 BR /1 BA is fully appointed for short or long stays. You'll love the queen bed, feather pillows, sevenfold towels, down duvets, central heat and air, queen sofa bed with linens, beach chairs, and shared beach front deck. From your front door, turn right and you're a short walk to the beach. Pets are welcome. There are 2 parking spaces. Please request permission for more than 2 cars. Cook meals with the induction cook top and convection oven.
The space
Beach Construction Notice:
The City of Norfolk will begin a sand replacement project on Toler Place and Willoughby Beach (from 11th View St to the terminal groin) in response to significant erosion from recent high tides. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning in late May 2025 and continuing through late July 2025. You will have to use the beach from 11th Bay and down to enjoy the beach.
Please be aware that the impacted section of the beach will be closed during work hours but will reopen in the evenings and on weekends. Alternate access to the beach is available via 11th View St and other nearby entry points.

From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance or during long term stays, a showing to prospective tenants. Pet Policy
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per pet per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

Beautiful apartment right on the water, and with a great view of the ocean from the apartment. Love the deck, everything was very clean, and the host is very professional and communicates really well. This place was a great price point with access to the beach. It’s pet friendly and the cost couldn’t get any better. We had our German shepherd with us and she enjoyed her stay.
Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Our only complaint is the water pressure for the shower is really low but tolerable. The full kitchen was great for our 11 day stay. Sojourn provided a new can opener within an hour when the other one wasn’t working well. I really appreciated that.
The beach is beautiful here. Dogs are allowed on the beaches in Norfolk during the fall/winter season so it was nice to take my dog out there. The path to the beach needs to be cleaned up a bit because of overgrown plants but still very easily accessible.
The shared patio area may need some upgrades so we didn’t use the space.
The property has great potential. It seems like all of the remodeling is pretty recent. Management was great and extremely communicative. I appreciated them so much.
