Step into the efficient living area, adorned with chic furnishings, art, and space to dine. Cook a delicious meal on the convection oven, modernly lit by counter lighting. The kitchen is equipped with high-end designer appliances and everything you need to to have a wonderful meal in. Or order food from one of the nearby award-winning Barrack’s Row restaurants and relax on the L shaped Italian leather sofa afterwards and enjoy a movie on a 50-inch 4k TV.
We offer a large King bed with luxury, comfortable bedding and black-out blinds. In the bedroom, the Elfa closet system helps organize your wardrobe for a night out on the town or a business meeting. Your work desk is conveniently settled in the bedroom, perfect for an easy transition from remote work to tv remote in hand. The en-suite renovated bathroom is enhanced by its modern fixtures and tile shower. There is also a stacked washer and dryer in the home, making it easy to refresh your wardrobe after exploring the Capitol Hill area.

The Garden Apartment provides easy connectivity to the best of Capitol Hill, located 4 blocks and a 10-minute walk from the Eastern Market Metro Station and the Restaurants on Barracks Row. The US Capitol, Library of Congress, Supreme Court and Shakespeare Library are all located less than a mile away or an easy 20-minute walk. Guests love the convenience of buying fresh produce at Historic Eastern Market or walking to the Trader Joe’s grocery store just minutes from our front door.
Navigating Capitol Hill is best accomplished by utilizing its efficient public transportation system, including the DC Metro, with the Capitol South, Eastern Market, and Union Station stations serving as convenient access points. Additionally, the neighborhood is highly walkable, allowing residents and visitors to explore its historic streets and vibrant commercial corridors on foot. For those preferring a more leisurely mode of transportation, renting a Capital Bikeshare bike provides a convenient and environmentally friendly means of getting around, with numerous docking stations scattered throughout the area. Lastly, ridesharing services such as Uber and Lyft offer convenient door-to-door transportation for those seeking a more personalized commuting experience.

1) Our properties are protected by Truvi . Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period.
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) While this home is not pet friendly, we might have other homes available that welcome your pets and suit your needs. Please reach out to the Sojourn Guest Services Team for more information.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC and will have a vehicle, please inquire in advance about a parking pass. Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver. Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.
7) This home is below a family with a small quiet dog and there may be some residual noise during the day. We have done our best to mitigate sound transfer. Please let us know how we can make your stay more comfortable.View More

This space was clean and functional. Like many DC airbnbs it’s a lower level unit with low ceilings, but it still had pretty good light and was a comfortably place to spend a week. I’ll aim to stay here again. Beautiful well kept apartment in a lovely, accessible location. Host was proactive, responsive and very gracious. Would stay again. Clean, cozy, great location. Access to a parking pass was very helpful. Would stay again and would recommend. Great place, great location! Would stay again here!
