★ RENTAL AGREEMENT ★
After booking your stay with us, we kindly ask our guests to complete a rental agreement. This is a standard procedure designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all parties involved in renting homes in North Carolina. When signing the rental agreement, you are agreeing to share this agreement and the house rules with all parties that will be on the property during your stay. This rental agreement applies to "everyone" staying or visiting the property. If you are booking on Airbnb, you will receive a link to the rental agreement in the Airbnb app.
★ TRUST & SAFETY FEE ★
Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home and its contents are protected during the stay.
★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★
Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
★ POOLS & HOT TUBS ★
The pool and hot are open seasonally from May 15-October 15.
★ NOT A PET-FRIENDLY HOME ★
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them. Should you bring pets without obtaining prior permission from the host, there will be a $400 infraction fee, and your stay will be subject to cancellation with no refund and an expedited eviction.
★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside of the home. If you smoke outside the home, please clean up after.
★ SECURITY CAMERAS ★
All of our homes have exterior security cameras for the safety and security of our guests. Exterior cameras are pointed at areas of ingress and egress from the home.
★ NO THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS ★
For the safety and tranquility of our guests and neighbors, we strictly prohibit third-party bookings. The person making the reservation must be the one staying at the property.
★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★

My family and I had a wonderful week at Yellow Lotus. The home has a great layout and is close to the beach. The beds are very comfortable. It was a special treat to have a pool and hot tub in such a lovely quiet backyard. Angelina

Great location with an easy walk to the beach (about 3 blocks) and 5-8 minute drive to restaurants, shops, and the lighthouse. The layout of the house was nice with living areas on each floor, enabling our group to spread out. The host was very responsive and friendly. They provided more standard items than the typical rental with extra toilet paper, toiletries like soap and lotion, laundry detergent, etc., which was a pleasant surprise. Pool and hot tub were a nice addition. While the house is showing some wear and tear, it was clean and I would still recommend. We had a pleasant stay. Easy walk to the beach. The house had plenty of kitchen amenities than expected. Home was well-kept and clean when we arrived. The layout was wonderful.<br/>Not too much to complain about except some worn out decking and the pool deck needing some general cleaning. <br/>Our stay was wonderful. Beautiful property and lovely hostesses!
We arrived to a clean, organized home. The hostesses were quick to provide information and respond all weekend.
There were a handful of small issues, and they were quick to provide solutions or send out help.
The pool was incredible to have, since the beach is kind of a haul to get to. It’s even nicer that it’s heated! While we were there (four nights) there was no pool cleaning service. After a few days of people in it, it got murky.
Use caution when walking on the wooden decks, the wood is very dry and splintered. Just use shoes, and keep hands off of it, and it’s no problem!
I would definitely recommend this house!
