A charming 3 bedroom 2 bathroom home with sweeping views of Back River in Hampton. The home has 2 queen beds and a full over twin bunk beds sleeping 3 and 3 full bathrooms. The home was made for outdoor life, with tons of place to enjoy the water, a relaxing outdoor deck and swing. Take in the birds of nature and the birds of America, our Langley Air Force Base fighter jets (they are loud).

Weather patterns may affect this so we can not promise what da If you are booked for this property you acknowledge our landscaper will enter the front and backyard to cut the grass. Trash is scheduled to be picked up 3 days a week, you also acknowledge that our private trash provider will be on site bringing cans out and back in.

For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within thirty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.

5) Fireworks are illegal in our area and use of them is cause to end your stay.

GOSNOLD’S HOPE PARK/HAMPTON BMX SUPER TRACK
Gosnold’s Hope Park is the second largest development park in the city consisting of 105 acres.l It offers the public eight picnic facilities complete with tables and grills, campsites, restrooms, a public boat ramp, a fitness trail, athletic fields, children’s playground, picnic shelters with tables and grills for reservation, and a BMX track. There are 16 Trailer Sites designed for RV use only, no tents are allowed. The space is available 24-hours a day on a first come, first served basis—no reservations are accepted. Campers can stay no more than 14 days in any 30-day period and the $31.20 per night fee includes electricity, water hook-up, access to a shower and sewer dump. Each site features a picnic table and charcoal grill, user must provide own charcoal.

6) Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Clean and quiet with a great view
We had a wonderful stay for 4 nights. The property is clean and neighborhood was nice. The jets from Langley were fun to see and not too loud for us at all. The view of the river is fabulous from sunrise to sunset. The kitchen has wonderful natural light from the windows and skylights. The photos online are applicable as of May 2025 with the only change being the new rock pile at the property line to the water. As others have mentioned, be aware there is no oven in the kitchen (just a range) and no door to the bedroom with the bunk beds. We had no issue with either item. For clarification, the fire pit is the fireplace in the photos (not a fire pit out on the grounds that you would sit around). Bring grilling tools for the charcoal grill.Communication with the Sojourn property staff was fabulous from beginning to end. Always quick and courteous responses, taking any stress away for the stay. Amenities in the house were great: linens, towels, paper towels, hand soap, hair dryer, iron/board, plates/glasses/utensils, basic seasonings, etc. Always a great help to have these basics. There is a shopping center within a short drive with a super market, pizza etc. We were in town to visit family but had some downtime to check out Grandview and Buckroe beaches. B

Perfect little getaway!!
A group of us (family) got together from 2 states to visit a cousin and her husband who had just been stationed at Langley. The location to them was PERFECT! It was a great way for the rest of us to enjoy our stay and maximize our time together. It’s a little bit of a drive to the historic sights but that wasn’t a big problem. We LOVED sitting in the backyard watching the sun come up in the mornings before getting the day started and watching the sun go down after a long day. The house itself was cute, it has its quirks but was very clean and extremely comfortable. We highly recommend!!! The views were gorgeous, it was so peaceful. We mainly used the home for sleeping, as we were there to sightsee in the historic Jamestown and Williamsburg, but I could have easily spent a week just sitting in the backyard. I even set my alarm (ON VACATION) to get up and watch the gorgeous sunsets!
Our only complaint came from our 16 year old, the twin beds were not super comfy, and there is no door on that bedroom to help keep noise out of the room. Great host, home, and location.
