The space
Beach Construction Notice:
The City of Norfolk will begin a sand replacement project on Toler Place and Willoughby Beach (from 11th View St to the terminal groin) in response to significant erosion from recent high tides. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning in late May 2025 and continuing through late July 2025. You will have to use the beach from 11th Bay and down to enjoy the beach.
Please be aware that the impacted section of the beach will be closed during work hours but will reopen in the evenings and on weekends. Alternate access to the beach is available via 11th View St and other nearby entry points.
This home sleeps 4 with 2 fantastic queen beds, TV's in every room, feather duvets and pillows, a fully appointed kitchen, giga blast wifi and a front deck accessed from the side of the building. We include free Netflix and Hulu for every tv. Please note the deck overlooking the beach is accessed out the front door and is not a direct access from the balcony. Beach chairs and towels are provided. We are pet friendly with a $75 per pet per week fee.

Pet Policy
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

Exterior security cameras on property
Finding the place was easy and location relative to the beach was great. However, on night one, someone opened our main door which made the rest of the stay feel very unsecure. Until now (after my stay) I have no idea who the person that tried opening the door was and the host cannot figure it out either even though this person had a code and was able to open the door without force. In terms of security within the unit and building, I would say this location did not make me feel secure at all. It took two days for the host to respond and ask if we could change the code for the door, which again made me feel that they did not give this security issue the attention it needed. Would not stay again. Super close to beach, very convenient! Would absolutely book again
