Weekly and monthly events like the Old Beach Farmer’s Market and Second Saturdays give a taste of the town and bring entertainment and community art projects you can be a part of.
Your summer retreat is surrounded by amazing local coffee shops, and eclectic family friendly restaurants (don't miss out on the the BBQ Beach Bully.) The Vibe District is a hub for artists and spirits, roasters and restaurants, workouts and wares, museums and more, the ViBe is where our creative businesses have set up shop to share their passion and inspire a sense of discovery in locals and visitors alike.
We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:
1) Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period. ...
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

* The Parking Passes * You are required to send us a photo of the parking passes being returned before you check out. By booking this home, you agreed that if you leave with the parking pass it is $250 per pass plus any expenses incurred that will inconvenience the next guest.
Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver. Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
3) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
4) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

Perfect location, wonderful place!
This was the perfect rental for a weekend in VA Beach while attending an event at the Sports Center. The unit is very comfortable, clean, and super cute! The owner was extremely communicative and even left us some snacks and a bottle of wine. There are a ton of cute restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. A

Quite/Great location
Very clean and matched the description. The property served as a great option when visiting the area. The location is top-notch, and the at home feel was second to none. A great stay for sure! Amanda

My son had a basketball tournament at the VA beach sports complex so we were just here for the weekend. But the location was perfect! Also the town house is super cute. Perfect for our small family. This would great for someone wanting to stay close to the beach as well during summer. Lots of walkable restaurants, breweries, coffee etc
