The space
Start your day with a stroll on the peaceful and private beaches of the Chesapeake Bay. No need to bring beach chairs or towels we provide those for you. This one bedroom home has a stocked kitchen with all of the amenities needed for cooking a meal in. Our coffee maker is a single serve K cup coffee maker and we provide coffee pods to get you started. The home features an all in one washer dryer for small loads of laundry. Soap and Suds is conveniently located next door for larger loads as well. The living room has a 50" smart TV, we provide Netflix for premium movies and Hulu Live for cable television. The living room table conveniently pops up into a desk as well for those work form home evenings.
The bedroom has a queen bed and is outfitted in the Sojourn standard, uber soft bed sheets, down feather comforter, one set of feather pillows and one set of gel pillows for an incredible nights sleep. There are blackout curtains, a dresser for storage, a large closet with ample hanging space and a 32" TV also equipped with complimentary Netflix and Hulu. Enjoy a freshly renovated bathroom with a walk in tile shower and Lather bath products.
Beach chairs and towels are provided. A pack and play or high chair are available upon request for a $25 rental fee. The home is cooled and heated by a dual window heat and ac unit as well as electric base board heat. A window unit for the bedroom is available by request. We find these homes stay incredibly cool as the building is a solid concrete building.

A code will be set for you and shared 8 hours before your arrival if you have completed our Truvi identification process.

Property Access & Maintenance
From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance or during long term stays, a showing to prospective tenants. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

Traveling with little ones? We’re happy to offer Pack & Plays and high chairs for your convenience. These items must be reserved in advance and are available for a $25 rental fee per item.

Pet Policy
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

Exterior security cameras on property
Overall look and feel was good. The place needs a deep clean and paint job. Bathroom is very small especially for tall people like us. Water pressure was great, all amenities in bathroom, kitchen were excellent. TV with streaming services excellent. Towels and bedding were good. For me, the place needs a deep clean, paint job, get rid of iron stains in bathroom and shower, clean everything not just surface. Shannon

Sojourn on ocean view was a clean little spot for my stay. Even though it is in an apartment complex it was quiet and all the neighbors were friendly. Location was right across the street from the beach but the apartment building was pretty run down and parking lot did not have enough spaces. The bathroom was very small, im 5’1 and my knees were hitting the shower when sitting on the toilet. The shower was very nice thougj, shower head made for an amazing shower. The apartment was nice although smaller than I would have thought. Kitchen had everything needed. The bedroom just never got cool despite the air conditioning unit in the living room running constantly. It was uncomfortable and humid in the bedroom the whole stay. Overall was decent for the price but not as good of a find as I thought it would have been. Hosts were reaponsive and did send tips of places to eat and free grubhub delivery while there. Wonderful airbnb for a family vacation. With a dog and infant, there was plenty of room for everyone to hang out in relax at the home. The beach access is walkable from the airbnb. Great location from VA beach. Everything was clean and apartment was decorated in taste.
