The property is located in the heart of Capitol Hill, a charming and colorful historically famous neighborhood. What started out as an area for members of Congress to live in the late 18th century, has now become Washington DC's largest residential historic district. This apartment is located on a scenic residential street, yet you can walk to dozens of fantastic locally owned restaurants, Starbucks, and grocery stores.
On weekdays, you can stroll to the Supreme Court building or Library of Congress to take a tour of our nation’s most venerable structures, then head to Whole Foods Market to buy some groceries on your way home for dinner. On weekends, you can spend some time perusing Stanton Park after getting a cup of coffee from Jacob’s Coffee House.

2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

3) This home is not set up for hosting pets, currently.

5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations. Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver. Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

We had a great visit in DC. Our accommodations were perfect for visiting the museums and exploring the capital. It was easy to access the museums and a lot of great restaurants were close by. We especially enjoyed the upscale linens and sulfate free bath and body products. The unit was nicely appointed and very clean. We would definitely stay again. I would definitely recommend. The layout of the unit is ideal for two couples, as each has a private bathroom and the bedrooms are separated by the kitchen and sitting area, providing plenty of privacy. The washer and dryer work exceptionally quickly, and having a dishwasher was a convenient bonus. Both the furniture and beds were very comfortable—the mattresses were just the right balance between soft and firm. While you can hear some footsteps from the residents above and a bit of neighborhood noise from the front room, it was never disruptive to our sleep. Nicole was very responsive, and allowing us to drop our bags off early made our arrival much easier. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and definitely a much better value than booking two hotel rooms in the area. Great place to stay, it was exactly what me and my family were looking for. Everything was clean and exactly what it looks like in the pictures. Area is perfect too, very quiet and peaceful with plenty of restaurants and grocery stores around.
