Explore Kill Devil Hills from a cozy home base

We had a wonderful family gathering time at chipwrecked. The house was large enough for our family of 10. There were 2 cribs for the babies and plenty of bedrooms for everyone else. One of the children’s rooms had toys and children’s books, which was a big hit. The house was very clean when we arrived, and they delivered a new grill, and new washer and dryer while we were there. Someone from their team came and fixed the vacuum and put a film over a bedroom window for privacy. They were very attentive to getting things in order and took care of our situation in a timely manner. The beach was a short walk and very doable. There was a bit of a sand hill getting to the beach, but even our 72 year old family member was able to do it. There was an outdoor shower for hosing off, which was very helpful. The house was nicely decorated and very comfortable. We really liked the downstairs additional bedroom and living area for a master suite. We had a lovely week in this home.
