Pet Policy
This pet-friendly residence welcomes your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $10 per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly.

Amenities
Beware. This is a basement unit and has an insect infestation problem. Mosquitoes, sewer flies, and centipedes were everywhere. Evidence of a long standing problem existed as smashed insects all over the walls and ceilings. My family woke up with several mosquito bites each morning. <br/>When the water runs, there is a loud clicking noise in the pipes in the walls. <br/>The AC in the bedroom waterfalled condensation at midnight and failed to work the rest of the night. <br/>Sandbags at the rear door to keep the unit from flooding during heavy rain. <br/>This unit was so bad, it became a running joke with the family. <br/>Stay at a hotel instead! Great Location, Responsive host and street parking was always available near by. We really enjoyed our stay at this Airbnb! The space was very clean, spacious, and well-kept, with plenty of room for our group to spread out and feel comfortable. It was a great home base for exploring D.C., and the host clearly takes pride in maintaining the property.<br/>The only downside was the upstairs neighbors, who were EXTREMELY loud and inconsiderate—at all hours of the day and night. Unfortunately, the noise level did affect our ability to fully relax and get a good night’s sleep. This wasn’t the fault of the host, but definitely something to be aware of if you’re a light sleeper or sensitive to noise. They also smoked marajuana all the time because the smell came straight through our window non stop! <br/>Overall, we appreciated the cleanliness and layout of the unit itself—it really was a great space! We booked a 7 night stay. Once we checked in, we were interrupted several times by the previous guests that “left” some belongings in the place. The owner ended up contacting us and had the previous guests come in and gather things; toiletries were left in the bathroom, and some other items throughout the place.<br/>Made me wonder how well the cleaning was. Later that week when we were doing laundry, the dryer was full of clothes. (I assume of the previous guest).<br/>We were contacted 2 other times for HVAC maintenance and another time for the lock needing a new battery.<br/>It’s advertised as no parties, but someone was having one, and there was a child upstairs that ran around until last hours of the night.<br/>Beds were really noisy and uncomfortable. <br/>One towel for each of us 3, for a week, so we had to wash those too. <br/>It’s close to the capital and the metro, which is the best part. That is why this place is so popular and expensive. <br/>I would not stay again.
