The property is located in the heart of Capitol Hill, a charming and colorful historically famous neighborhood. What started out as an area for members of Congress to live in the late 18th century, has now become Washington DC's largest residential historic district. This apartment is located on a scenic residential street, yet you can walk to dozens of fantastic locally owned restaurants, Starbucks, and grocery stores.
On weekdays, you can stroll to the Supreme Court building or Library of Congress to take a tour of our nation’s most venerable structures, then head to Union Kitchen 3rd to buy some groceries on your way home for dinner. On weekends, you can spend some time perusing Lower Senate Park after getting a cup of coffee from Ebenezers Coffeehouse.

1) Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period.
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) Pets are not welcome at this property. Violation of this pet fee policy will result in a $500 fine.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations. Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver. Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

Amazing house in a beautiful shady residential street. Close proximity to Union Station, the Capitol, National Mall and all the Museums. Supermarkets and restaurants all in walking distance. We will be back! This accommodation was more than we expected and was immaculately clean. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms had lots of toiletries. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need. The communication with the management was fantastic and we would stay there again if we ever visit Washington. Added bonus was the property was a 5 min walk to union station and the metro. What an amazing place to stay! Plenty of space, within walking distance of the capital side of the mall. It's one of our top 3 favorite places we've ever booked. If you are coming to DC, this location and unit are fantastic, light, bright, clean with tons of space and ammenities. <br/>The neighborhood is adjacent to Union Station and a short 5 minute walk to the Capitol and Library of Congress. <br/>The hosts we so nice and very welcoming and easy to connect and communicate with. <br/>We loved our trip and stay and would absolutely rent this unit again!
