Description
Newly renovated, light filled corner row house in the heart of Capitol Hill. Fully equipped chef's kitchen! Spa like bathrooms! Large backyard with great seating area, fully fenced, and weber gas grill. Two blocks from the metro. Less than 1.5 miles from the Capitol. Walk to everything in Eastern Market and Barracks Row.
Three bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs. Master bedroom has a king sized bed and en suite bathroom. One bedroom has a built in double bed and the other has a pull-out queen sized bed. For kids there are toys, a tableside high chair, books, stroller, kids utensils and other family friendly amenities available. There is a pack n play and an air mattress if you need it.
The english basement has a one bedroom one bath in-law suite. The In-law suite includes a full kitchen, additional laundry room, and separate entrance. This is the perfect space to get work done while the family is having a good time upstairs.
Our home is contactless seamless and easy self check in. A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival. At Sojourn we take your happiness and comfort seriously. No request is too big or too small for our team and we strive to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Don't hesitate to ask.

The house is in a perfect location. One block from the Potomac Ave Metro (orange/blue line). Walkable to the national Mall, Eastern Market, H street NE, and the Navy Yard. The neighborhood is quiet tree lined area perfect for strolling and exploring. The area offers fantastic restaurants with in a 7 block radius, two grocery stores within 5 blocks, access to National's Stadium. Beautiful walking trails along the water are less than 4 blocks away.
This area is highly walkable and well-served by public transportation. You can easily explore nearby areas like Eastern Market and Barracks Row on foot for restaurants, shops, and local markets. For public transit, the Potomac Avenue Metro Station (Blue, Orange, and Silver lines) is the closest, offering quick access to other parts of the city. Biking is also a popular option with dedicated bike lanes and Capital Bikeshare stations nearby. If you prefer driving, street parking is available, though it can be limited during peak times. There is a bike share station next to the metro stop. The bikes are available for $7 a day. Its a perfect way to explore our city.

1) Our properties are protected by Truvi Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain.
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per, pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings. We do not allow cats in this home.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) This home comes with a garage for parking at an additional cost. Please reach out to our Guest Services team for additional information.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

Amazing house, very convenient location
Our family really enjoyed our stay here. Loved the location, close to metro (5 min walk), could get to National Mall within 20 mins. Lots of space for our family of 7 to unwind and relax. 8 min walk to a Safeway. The Roost was a great food option with several restaurant options. Having a garage was very nice to not have to worry about vehicle on the street (though it was a tight fit, had to park the van at a slight angle for it yo fit and close the door. Kitchen has mostly everything we needed (couldn’t find an ice cream scoop). Beds and linens were great. Had a pack n play for our 1.5 yo. The backyard, though small, was enjoyable. Management company was very responsive and had great communication. Would definitely recommend. This home was right around the corner from my sister-in-laws rental. She has roommates so spending any time there would be too cramped with my family of 4. This home allowed us to spend wonderful family time together and ultimately saved us money since we didn't have to go out every meal. We made pizza the first night and the only thing the kitchen was missing was a pizza cutter. The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable (all different firmness levels), nice outside space which is very rare for the area. It is close to the a Metro station and walkable to Safeway. I was one of the first to book the home and I feel like we received a bit of a discount because it was a new listing. We would love to come back next time we are in DC but it may end up being outside of our budget. Either way, we had a great stay and would recommend it. This rental not only met but exceeded our needs and expectations! We would happily stay here again during future visits to the area!
