The space
Our 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home in Capitol Hill home is ideal for small groups of six on business trips and weekend stays. This beautifully designed space provides a mix of convenience and privacy.
- Living area: Natural light pours in from the windows flanking the side chairs. The sofa pulls out into a sleeper sofa, accomodating two additional guests. The mounted television is perfect for kicking back and watching a movie together. Simple decor, area rug, wall art and a decorative fireplace help set the relaxed tone of this home.
- Dining Area: Simple and chick, the dining table comfortable seats six people where you can eat your favorite dishes and laugh while sharing stories.
- Kitchen: Fully equipped for cooking enthusiasts, has everything you need including, stove, oven, full sized refrigerator, coffee maker, cookware, and plenty of space to whip up your favorite meals.
- Bedrooms: Each room is furnished with a queen bed, clothing storage, side tables with lamps, and additional linens. Sink into the high quality linens for a restful stay.
- Laundry: There is a washer and dryer in those home.

Amenities
Great place and location! Great place and the host was very helpful throughout the whole process. A very nice apartment. With very tall ceilings, it did not feel like a basement apartment. Nicely appointed kitchen. Comfy beds. Nice location, with a park and playground a block away. Close to the Metro and to Eastern Market. Lots of good restaurants around. Would love to stay there again. This apartment is a great option if you’re looking for a trendy apt that’s affordable and walkable. We would stay here again.
PRO: super cute style, high ceilings, walkable to the national mall, host is responsive for help, decent price for the area, beds are comfortable, good water pressure, safe location.
CONS: neighbors upstairs are noisy in the morning - kids and dog, will wake you up weekdays 6:30-9am. A lot of stuff is broken or in disrepair: most doorhandles, some lightbulbs, only one regular drinking glass (lots of wine or coffee cups tho), bedroom doors to the cement alley don’t lock but nobody can get in, front smart lock wiggles but does lock, tv screen is broken but works), leg for side table is broken, dresser is flimsy, etc. The place is fine and gets the job done but does feel like an ikea special or like it’s not maintained.
We arrived to no clean bedding or towels, hair and trash from previous guest. Host sent housekeeping to clean while we were there.
