Fabulous location near Shaw, Petworth and Howard University. This 2 BR 2 BA is newly renovated, with stone countertops and stainless steel appliances. The home is fully furnished with two queen beds and a comfortable living and dining space. This modern, clean, well appointed includes Netflix, Hulu Live & giga blast wifi with desks in each bedroom.
We have one parking spot for the entire building. Before booking please inquire if that spot is available. Parking is $35 per night.
Other things to note
We are looking forward to hosting you but there are a few things you need to do in order to make sure that you, and all of our guests, are safe and that everyone can enjoy their respective stays! This message also includes other useful information about pets, baby gear and parking:
1) Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain, period.
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
4) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations. Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver. Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
5) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
5) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More
Amenities
I rarely leave bad reviews, but this stay was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. When we first arrived at the unit, we immediately noticed puddles of water on the floor. We contacted the host right away, and they assured us it would be taken care of. Unfortunately, nothing was done. After spending a long day exploring Washington DC, we returned to find an even larger puddle of water in the same spot.<br/>The unit itself was not clean or well-maintained. It felt unkept—there was visible dust, grime in the bathroom, and an overall lack of care. To make matters worse, we noticed bugs in the space, which only added to our discomfort.<br/>The noise level from the people staying above us was unbearable. It sounded like they were stomping and dragging furniture late into the night. We contacted the host again, and once more, they said they would handle it—but just like with the water issue, nothing changed.<br/>This stay did not meet even basic expectations for cleanliness or comfort. Great place to stay would definitely visit again We had a great stay. It was super convenient to my son’s place and his graduation.
The home was clean, and the bed was super comfortable.
We would recommend it if you need a place to stay in DC. Sojourn was very communicative and overall the trip was very enjoyable. I would definitely utilize any of Sojourns properties based on this experience. Thank you !
