Newly renovated 1 bedroom + den, 1 bathroom apartment in Woodley Park. Set up with a primary bedroom and an office, with an option to add a twin bed for $200. The bathroom is accessed through the bedroom. The Muriel is 1 block from the red line metro station, the zoo, and great restaurants.
When you book this home, each adult occupant will be required to submit a $45 application, which includes a credit, criminal, and eviction check and you will be required to execute a lease agreement.
The space
Freshly renovated pre-war building along a wealthy avenue. This is a 2 bedroom 1-bathroom apartment with a queen bed and dedicated office on the 4th floor. Bathroom is en suite to the bedroom. No elevator. LOTS of closet space. Fully furnished and equipped and ready to go for you.
In the living room, enjoy some time watching your favorite movies on the Smart TV. If you need to work, our home is equipped with a desk, chair, and light. Enjoy a home cooked meal, or takeout, at the dining room table.
The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary appliances and more. There’s a gas stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, disposal, and a Keurig Coffee Maker. The kitchen also has cooking items including pots and pans, baking tray and cooking utensils. There’s knives, a cutting board, strainer and mixing bowls. There’s 4 sets of plates, glasses, mugs, bowls, and flatware.
The home has a vacuum, broom, swiffer and ironing board.
Each floor has a shared coin-operated washer and dryer.

Pet Policy
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per pet per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

Amenities
The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos and very well equipped, with a dishwasher, pots and pans, and initial supplies.<br/>The building is old and has no elevator, but it is fully renovated and well maintained. The neighborhood is very quiet and pleasant, close to the metro, restaurants, cafés, and small eateries, which makes the location very convenient.<br/>The rental process, however, was excessively long and bureaucratic for a one-month Airbnb stay only. They requested a large amount of documents and personal information and required signing a lease contract similar to a long-term rental, which felt unnecessary and caused some discomfort.<br/>Carrying luggage to the 4th floor was challenging due to the lack of an elevator.<br/>Having laundry on each floor was very useful.<br/>I would definitely stay there again; it’s a great place. What a gem! The apartment is absolutely gorgeous — super clean, spacious, and full of good vibes. The neighborhood is amazing, with everything you could possibly need just around the corner. Communication with the host was spot on! And honestly, those stairs? The best free daily workout ever! I’d come back in a heartbeat. Spacious unit in a convenient and quiet location. Host gave us no cleaning obligations which made checking out low stress. Only gripe was that the shower water pressure was weak (but it did get very hot). Would stay here again.
