The space
This stunning 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home is designed to be a contemporary art gallery, creating an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere. Upon entering, you are greeted by an expansive open floor plan that emphasizes light and space. High ceilings and large windows flood the area with natural light, while polished hardwood floors provide a sleek, modern foundation. The main living area on the second floor serves as a versatile exhibition space, showcasing a curated selection of artwork against minimalist white walls.
Each bedroom is designed as a tranquil retreat, reflecting the clean lines and serene aesthetics of an art studio. The primary suite on the third floor features ample space, creating a unique sanctuary that inspires relaxation and creativity. The en-suite bathroom feature a tub, shower arm, cabinet space, and Sojourn's select Lather products.

Pet Policy
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

Amenities
This is a beautiful townhouse in the heart of DuPont circle neighborhood. It is an easy walk to cafes, restaurants, shops, and a red line Metro entrance. There is plenty of space in the house with 3 sitting areas (living area on 2nd floor, sitting/desk area in 3rd floor bedroom, and sitting/desk area off 1st floor bedroom). The kitchen is very nice. I have stayed in many Airbnb's and this place is one of the very best so I gave it 5 stars despite a few minor quirks. The townhouse entrance is on a quiet street , buts backs onto a busier street with a bus stop. Since the windows are not tight, there is some city noise from cars and buses ("The standard bus fare is $2.25"); however, it was quiet in the bedrooms at night. The 1st floor heating unit was not very efficient due to unit placement as the warm from the heater rises up the stairs. Note this would not be an issue in summer since cold air sinks. They did provide a portable radiator heater for 1st floor. Our stay at this place was fantastic, and a great place to stay over the Thanksgiving holiday with a group!<br/>The stay was spacious, comfortable, and well equipped to meet our needs over the few days we were there. The team was really communicative and supportive in helping us with check in and with our stay overall! When we had one small issue arise with a noise in the main bedroom (issue ended up being with a window seal and cover and did not at all negatively impact our stay), the team responded promptly and sent someone within a day to check it out! I really appreciated them being considerate and proactive in support.<br/>The neighborhood could not be better, the place was great for a group with space to stay and meet comfortably, and I would highly recommend a stay here! I stayed here for more than week and truly felt at home. Communication with the hosts was easy, comfortable, and they responded quickly. The neighborhood is safe, and overall it was a great stay.
