Rental Agreement
After booking your stay with us, we kindly ask our guests to complete a rental agreement. This is a standard procedure designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all parties involved in renting homes in North Carolina. When signing the rental agreement, you are agreeing to share this agreement and the house rules with all parties that will be on the property during your stay. This rental agreement applies to "everyone" staying or visiting the property. If you are booking on Airbnb, you will receive a link to the rental agreement in the Airbnb app.
Guest Verification with Truvi
To protect our homes and enhance your peace of mind, Sojourn partners with Truvi, a third-party guest verification platform. You’ll receive a direct message from Truvi to complete your verification. Please complete this step before check-in. Visit Truvi’s website to learn more.
Trust & Safety Fee
Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home and its contents are protected during the stay.
Property Access & Maintenance
From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.
Baby Gear (Optional Add-On)
Traveling with little ones? We’re happy to offer Pack & Plays and high chairs for your convenience. These items must be reserved in advance and are available for a $25 rental fee per item.

This house was everything and more! Perfect walking distance to the beach and wonderful location to restaurants, shops and things to do! The hosts were absolutely incredible! Responsive, friendly, and communicative! 1000000% would stay here again, or any property owned by this company! No complaints. The house was well maintained, well stocked and clean. It was very close to the beach and conveniently located to lots of stores, restaurants, etc. The hosts communicated thoroughly and regularly, and were very responsive to questions during the trip. One thing to be aware of - the shared living space is fairly small. It's just the one couch and chair and a small table in the kitchen. There's also only one full bathroom in the main part of the house. There is essentially a separate, disconnected apartment on the bottom floor with it's own couch and full bath, which could be good depending on your situation. If it's a rainy day and you're looking to have everyone together in one area for dinner or anything like that, it's going to be a bit cramped. Otherwise, though, great house and great experience. We had a wonderful vacation and this house was perfect for our group of 8. We had 3 littles, a teenager, and 4 adults. It was the perfect amount of space for all of us. The separate area downstairs was nice. The pool was our favorite part and where we spent most of our time. The house was very clean and well maintained! The walk to the beach was short and convenient. The next time we stay on the OBX we will definitely book here again! Great location, centrally located. Easy walk to the beach. The house did have beach chairs and carts available as well. The pool was a nice change of pace. Interior of the place was nice and comfortable. I liked the separate down stairs living space. We had another couple with us and they were able to escape to their own area.
