Located in The Whalehead Neighborhood in Corolla, NC. Just a short walk to the beach! A short drive to nearby restaurants, shops, and Carova Beach which is the home of the OBX wild horses!
There are several grocery stores within minutes. Food Lion and Harris Teeter. There are local eateries in Corolla and in Duck. Most of the nicer ones will require a reservation - some on Open Table. There are many adventure activities and tours in the area and they fill up fast.
Just a few minutes north is the entrance to the 4x4 Beach, where you can take a scenic drive on the sand and possibly catch a glimpse of the wild horses grazing on the beach. Walk to the Whalehead Brewery, Food Lion or Timbuck 2 shopping center.

Sojourn’s beach home was a great stay for my fiancé and I’s combined bachelor and bachelorette party. It housed all 11 of us comfortably. The photos accurately represented the home and if we had any issues the hosts were responsive and tried to fix the things they could and answered our questions. Not sure if it was specific to the time of the year but the bugs were pretty bad around the house outside and them getting inside was pretty much unavoidable so that was something to be aware of. Overall the house was pretty much perfect. I would totally stay here again if I had the choice to do it over. Nanette

We had a fantastic group trip to Corolla! The house was perfect for a big group. The decks were a great hang out spot, living room was cozy, and the house was well equipped. The hot tub was used at every opportunity and you couldn't beat the short walk to the gorgeous beach. Would love to come back!
