Accessibility
Guests with mobility issues should know that the staircase is steep and narrow and that the rim of the bathtub is thigh-high. Also, if you have issues with noise or ambient light at night, pack earplugs and an eye mask - it's shared space, and the hallway light peeks in over the transom.

Great stay!! The location is the biggest pro, there are so many restaurants and shops really close and right next to the Dupont Circle Metro stop and a bus stop so it's easy to get around. Everything was super clean and cute, mini fridge and microwave were nice to have. I'd say the only con is if you are a light sleeper, there can be some noise in the hallway from other guests and the light from the hallway comes into the room- easy fix with an eye mask :) Overall, great stay and super nice host! The location of the space was absolutely perfect. Steps from the Metro or bus stops, near restaurants, coffee shops, cafes & a beautiful shady park to people watch. This space is in a beautiful brownstone, inside & up one flight of stairs. The bed was comfortable, albeit a double/full size, bathroom was sparkling clean w/ claw tub & shower. We always had more than enough hot water for 2 people. You can hear people as they come & go in the hallway or upstairs, but no problems. When we arrived, the air was not working. It was a fairly warm day outside and the room was a bit uncomfortable. The host was very communicative & was able to get an HVAC tech to come the following afternoon. Because it's on older home, keep in mind you can't lower the temp below 70 so if you're warm blooded & temps are high, room is a little on the warmer side. Overall, we were happy w/ our stay & would stay again in the future. Excellent experience. In a great part of the city also. I very much appreciated the flexibility of dropping off bags prior to checking in due to an early flight arrival. Thank you for allowing us to stay at this beautiful home. It was peaceful and exactly what we needed, I would definitely stay here again!
