The Lighthouse, designed to feel like your own beach resort, is a 3000 square-foot four bedroom newly renovated vacation rental home with beach house vaulted ceilings and panoramic views of the Chesapeake Bay. First Floor the Gathering space
Walking into the lighthouse is like entering your own private oasis for the week. On the 1st floor, you will find the spacious great room fit out with dining tables, full kitchen a comfortable living area, all with a bay view out the sliding glass doors. Comfortable sofa seating with 65” TV and high top tables accommodate everyone. Washroom and full kitchen have beautiful quartz counters and high end finishes.
Private patio beach front play space
Step outside onto the private beach front deck and relax on the swings, or play a game of shuffleboard on the game patio. This space is created to suit every vacation need, from the bay view bar to the outdoor grill. Beach chairs are available.
After a day of sun and sand, refresh in the private outdoor shower with nearby half bath.
Second Floor -comfort for the whole family
The 2nd floor is enough to be a home all on its own. Past one of many cozy reading areas, you’ll find a table and seating for 14 with a walkout balcony. A peninsula separates seating from the second fully stocked Chef’s kitchen.
Surrounding the kitchen are the Laundry room, 4 bedrooms, and a full bath with jetted tub. Luxury linens for all bedding and towels were sampled and critiqued for luxury comfort. Full terry cloth bathrobes are available for your use in the Bay View King Bedroom.
The principal bedroom with king bed has a walkout to the 2nd story ocean view deck with hammock. Two adjacent rooms have king beds as well. The 4th bedroom has two double bunk beds, each with a full on top and a queen on the bottom.

The 3rd floor landing is the perfect nook for quiet reading or a work space. The 4th floor is a cozy air conditioned vista. Open the windows for fresh ocean breeze as you stare at the waves from the comfort of the couch or stargaze from the 360º balcony.

1) Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within thirty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per, pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.

First great location. Nice place but one outdated bathroom. Only one and a half Home clean. Some deck boards needs maintenance and power washing would be recommended to remove bird poop on balconies. <br/>We felt we had Bad management skills and customer service. I wanted to leave immediately once I received a notification about noise level being to loud. <br/>At this time my family and I were out for dinner. So it was definitely wrong. We traveled from Ct, Nc, Ny, and Va to see our Family for A Graduation. <br/>I Was sent numerous messages and email about something that had nothing to do with us. <br/>Management seemed racist and guess she could talk to people and kind of way. Stated she was tired of apologizing for their mistakes. When you disrupted our state without finding evidence of any wrongdoing first before contacting guess it's alot. <br/>They sent notifications to emphasize no parties, emphasizing there is a noise ordinance in Norfolk. I contacted the city only them and find out it wasn't The place itself is amazing. The inside has three floors, two kitchens and a jacuzzi tub. It has a ping pong table and foosball table which was enjoyable: the management company is responsive. It is only the location of the property that gives it a bad rating. It felt rather unsafe to us. We didn’t spend much time on the porch because the hotel that is next door had people fighting, looked like they were ion drugs, listening to rap music all night and very loud while we were there. My husband and son didn’t sleep much because they were worried about the truck. We never did access the beach because we had a homeless tent literally right in front of the house. There were three grown men in the tarp like tent. They would sit and stare at the house here and there which was unsettling. We were there for almost a week but by day three we heard two guys outside. One parked the truck right by the house and went to the tarp tent. We left at 1:30am and went to a different air b n b. We left another rental abruptly due to the area and the cleanliness and checked into this one on a whim. They were responsive and helpful. The house was clean. Good location. Outdoor shower didn’t work and there’s a motel next door but other than that things were pretty perfect. Two kitchens. Four floors. Great views. Kids loved it as did we.
