Description
50 feet and toes are in the sand through private beach access! Sojourn welcomes you to this gorgeous 2 bedroom, 1 bath beach apartment, 1950's building but newly appointed apartment.. The apartment was partially renovated in the summer of 2021, a new kitchen and bathroom, with furnishings from Article, Crate & Barrel and West Elm. This home sleeps 4 with 2 fantastic queen beds, TV's in every room, feather duvets and pillows, a fully appointed kitchen, giga blast wifi We include free Netflix and Hulu for every tv.
The space
Beach Construction Notice:
The City of Norfolk will begin a sand replacement project on Toler Place and Willoughby Beach (from 11th View St to the terminal groin) in response to significant erosion from recent high tides. Work will take place Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, beginning in late May 2025 and continuing through late July 2025. You will have to use the beach from 11th Bay and down to enjoy the beach.
Please be aware that the impacted section of the beach will be closed during work hours but will reopen in the evenings and on weekends. Alternate access to the beach is available via 11th View St and other nearby entry points.
This home sleeps 4 with 2 fantastic queen beds, TV's in every room, feather duvets and pillows, a fully appointed kitchen, giga blast wifi and a front deck accessed from the side of the building. We include free Netflix and Hulu for every tv. Please note the deck overlooking the beach is accessed out the front door and is not a direct access onto the balcony. There is no private balcony. Beach chairs and towels are provided. We are pet friendly with a $75 per pet per week fee. Beach chairs are available.

Pet Policy
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

The host was great! The overall Airbnb had some interesting characteristics. There are window AC’s in the bedrooms, which get really hot at night. We had a hard time finding our apartment due to the fact we didn’t know it was on the second floor(very narrow stairwell) less than 5ft from someone else’s door. The beach access was fairly easy. The weeds along the back yard, with you have to walk through to get to the path definitely need to be trimmed. The pictures make the place look really nice, but it’s not what it looks like online. There are what looks like repaired leaks with ripped ceilings and it wasn’t properly cleaned, with there being popcorn in the living room from previous guests. So overall if you’re just looking for a place to crash while you explore Virginia this is the place; if you’re looking for a place to spend your whole vacation time in this is not the place. Liked being able to walk to the beach. Very private. Nice rooms with comfy bed and very open kitchen. Had TVs in the rooms and a washer and dryer. Thank you so much, Leo enjoyed his stay. The accommodation was very clean and perfect away from home.
