Fine except for access
We stayed here for my friend’s graduation. The place was very nice, located in a great neighborhood and just a short walk from the beach, though you do have to cross a slightly busy road to get there. However, we did have some issues with access. On the second day, our door code stopped working, and the next day the exterior door was locked without a code ever being provided in the first place. I had to call for assistance both times. Thankfully, customer service was responsive and helpful, so the issues were resolved fairly quickly. Still, it was frustrating to lose access to our unit twice in one weekend. The location was convenient and the price was reasonable, but there were a few things that could have been better. When we arrived, the heater was set to 80°F, and we couldn’t adjust it, so we just gave up on using it for the rest of the stay.
The apartment was missing a few basic items like a bathmat, extra blankets and extra towels. There also wasn’t a trash can in the bathroom, which was a bit inconvenient. The space didn’t quite match the photos either — it felt more basic and a little bare compared to what was shown online. The kitchen was also lacking some essential items, making it harder to cook comfortably.
While it was affordable, I think some small improvements could make the stay more comfortable for future guests. Honestly, it seems like the property was bought for cheap, and renovated. I will say, they were exceptionally well will communication and getting me to a new unit. However, the unit had a very strong mold smell and it was obvious mold had been covered up. It triggered my asmatahe and I had tightness in my chest, and my mom is mold sensitive and she got a bad headache. Also, it was hard to locate the building a little because it was in the back. But they did communicate well and were prompt to moving me to a new unit. I just think they need to get an inspection to figure out that mold situation because that’s dangerous. I had to use an inhaler and I haven’t used one since I was a kid! I grabbed my spouse’s inhaler because I had packed all my things up and needed somewhere, so the fact I had to use an inhaler is telling. They need to add a little more care too. The pics are nice but yea. Never trust it if it doesn’t have reviews.
