The house is in a perfect location. One block from the Potomac Ave Metro (orange/blue line). Walkable to the national Mall, Eastern Market, H street NE, and the Navy Yard. The neighborhood is quiet tree lined area perfect for strolling and exploring. The area offers fantastic restaurants with in a 7 block radius, two grocery stores within 5 blocks, access to National's Stadium. Beautiful walking trails along the water are less than 4 blocks away.
This area is highly walkable and well-served by public transportation. You can easily explore nearby areas like Eastern Market and Barracks Row on foot for restaurants, shops, and local markets. For public transit, the Potomac Avenue Metro Station (Blue, Orange, and Silver lines) is the closest, offering quick access to other parts of the city. Biking is also a popular option with dedicated bike lanes and Capital Bikeshare stations nearby. If you prefer driving, street parking is available, though it can be limited during peak times. There is a bike share station next to the metro stop. The bikes are available for $7 a day. Its a perfect way to explore our city.

1) Our properties are protected by Truvi Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.
* Cooking Grease/Food/Coffee grinds should never be poured down any drain.
* Feminine Products. Tampons and other feminine hygiene products are not supposed to be flushed down the toilet.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per, pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings. We do not allow cats in this home.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) This home comes with a garage for parking at an additional cost. Please reach out to our Guest Services team for additional information.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

6 stars! - IMO, it is what AirBnbs are supposed to be. Responsive, understanding, helpful. Kitchen was so well stocked. All the beds were comfortable. Close to the metro. This was the best AirBnb I’ve ever stayed in …by far! Looking forward to going back. V

Great property
House was modern and big. Provided plenty room for our eight guests. Location is close to everywhere we needed to visit in the DMV area for a family reunion. We especially enjoyed the checkout process. Normally we would have a list of things that we have to do before leaving. That was not the case with this property where we were just told to enjoy the rest of our state. Great host! Easy communication! Nice and convenient place! Thanks! I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this place in D.C. - when we are returning for another family trip I would definitely seek this place out again. It is very family friendly with a lot of amenities available so you don't have to worry about packing up your entire life! My only complaint is that the upstairs air did not really cool down as well as the main and basement floor. I know it's an old home so the cooling was probably being tested in the heat wave we were in - but the air was significantly warmer on the top floor. Other than that, fantastic stay!<br/>Easy on and off highway access to the major monuments, less than 10 minute drive away! There's a park near by to bring the kids, and the enclosed back yard was nice! A bit mosquitoey for us but out of our control.
