Enjoy a relaxing beach vacation in the 600 sq ft Suffolk Suite on the 2nd level of the Bay Haven in Norfolk, VA.

This Suite is a 1 bedroom, 1-bathroom, pet friendly suite just one block from the beautiful Oceanview Beach. Every detail has been taken care of to make this a comfortable and unique AirBnb stay.

This suite sleeps 2 guests and has one bedroom, with queen memory foam mattress, full bedding, and ample storage with nightstands, dressers and full closet in the bedroom.
The living room has ample space for relaxation and has a 43" Smart TV and high-speed wifi.
There is one fully equipped bathroom with bath towels, beach towels, and a large fully stocked kitchen. Two beach chairs are provided in this unit. No beach umbrella or beach toys are provided.
This unit is pet friendly. We allow up to 2 house trained dogs or cats and require:
-Pets not be allowed on the beds or furniture
-When pets are left alone, ideally, they are left in crates. Otherwise, the doors to the bedroom and bathroom should be left shut.
Beach chairs are available.
Access is by private door with door code.
Guests will have the entire suite to themselves. All suites / units are fully separate with dedicated entrances.
Guests will have use of the public beach access (only one block from the apartment).

This property is central to all local Ocean View restaurants.
House Rules:
For the comfort of all guests, we have a strict no-smoking policy. A $500 fine will be applied if this policy is violated.
We kindly ask that there are no parties or events. Gatherings exceeding the maximum occupancy will need to be discontinued unless previously approved by the host.
Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM onwards, as this is a multi-unit, family-friendly property.
Check-in is available anytime after 4:00 PM.
We welcome up to 2 house-trained dogs or cats. Please ensure pets are not on the beds. If you need to leave your pet alone in the unit, kindly use a crate. If you don't have a crate, please keep all bedroom and bathroom doors closed. Please note that a $75/pet fee will apply to help cover additional cleaning needed.
We kindly ask that you clean up after your pets while outdoors. Please make use of the pet waste station for proper disposal. Please note that excessive pet hair may incur a damages fee.
For safety reasons, fires and fire pits are not permitted on the beach.
Fireworks are prohibited on the beach, as their use poses a significant fire risk. Please note that using fireworks would be considered a breach of the house rules.
To ensure your safety, we kindly ask that you avoid climbing or walking on the rocks along the beach, as they can be very slippery and hazardous.
To maintain a clean and pleasant environment, we ask that glitter not be used in the unit. Any glitter found will result in a $100 cleaning fee.

Very nice vacation spot 5 with a 5 minute walk to the beach and 15 minute walk from the bar. Pictures looked better than in person but all clean. Had a hard time getting in; tried two codes and instructions were not clear. It was about low 90’s when I visited and the split A/C units had a hard time keeping it cool. It was walking distance to the beach pier which has a restaurant and shop to buy fishing bait. As for parking at the Airbnb…you only get one spot and off street parking is very limited. I was able to park at the pier about 1/2 a mile away and left my car overnight because the pier was allowing 24/7 fishing until Labor Day. Not sure if your car would get towed if you visited under different circumstances. The surrounding neighborhood requires a parking sticker or you’ll be towed. Remote control back cover broken so it fell off every time someone picked it up. I thought the price was fair but wished the A/C worked better at cooling spaces. No AC. Pet fee added after stay total and we paid through Klarna so this was a surprise for us. We had our dog and baby and the AC was barely keeping it cool inside. Our dog was panting the whole stay. Good area, very close to beach and clean. If the AC worked it would have been a great stay. But unfortunately we barely got sleep we were so hot. Had a great time staying here.
Everything was clean and in a safe location.
