The space
This newly renovated basement apartment is a wonderful combination of historic elegance, modern updates and amenities, and a highly sought after Capitol Hill location. Encompassing the entire lower level of a gorgeous, newly remodeled home, this apartment is spacious and private. You will have your own private entryway that leads out onto the brick patio, but may also enter through the building’s main front door. The open plan kitchen and living space is equipped with everything you need to cook, dine, entertain, and relax. The living room features hipster-esque exposed brick walls, hardwood floors, a flat screen HDTV, and a sleeper sofa. The updated kitchen comes complete with all-new stainless steel appliances and cookware and dishes to make you feel right at home. An eating area doubles as a workspace, for those of you who take your work home with you. The apartment has ample storage with large cabinets and drawers. Perfect for the busy professional! The large bedroom offers a comfortable queen sized bed, a large flatscreen HDTV, two spacious closets, and a spotlessly clean full bath. Cable and high speed Internet access are included, so your home can double as a space for work as well as relaxation.

Pet Policy
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

Exterior security cameras on property
Very happy I chose this place. Stayed for a whole month and would have stayed longer if I could. The place was expensive, but the location excellent. The people managing it were really responsive and truly wonderful to work with. Plusses: the apartment is very conveniently located between Capitol Hill and Eastern Market, with a range of restaurants, grocery shopping, and two Metro stations within easy walking distance. It's a very pleasant neighborhood. The apartment has all the necessities, and the host was always responsive.
Cons: it's not clear from the listing, but this apartment is in the basement. In addition, there is no on-site parking. There is street parking, but this may be limited for non-residents. Given that it's a basement apartment with no on-site parking, it's a bit pricey. An excellent place to stay!
