This home includes top of the line amenities with a patio and is created with your comfort in mind. The home is in the historic Capitol Hill neighborhood and is a 5 minute walk to the Eastern Market Metro (blue/orange/silver line).
Amongst the architectural beauty and history of Capitol Hill lies this classic, light-filled 2-bedroom apartment. Enjoy a hot cup of coffee or an evening libation on our private terrace. This home has one bedroom outfitted with a king bed, and another with a queen sleeper sofa. Both are equipped with down feather duvet, goose down, and bamboo pillows, specifically chosen for an incredible night's sleep. The kitchen is fully appointed for you and includes a dishwasher, garbage disposal, and all of the necessities to settle in and cook a meal. You have all the comforts of home, a bathroom with a built-in bidet, Lather bath products, a tub shower, and a full-size washer and dryer. All Sojourn homes come equipped with high-speed wifi. Pet Policy
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

A lovely apartment, just as described, in a perfect location for a DC visit. A short walk to bus stop, then a quick trip into the mall. On site parking was a plus. Neighborhood was full of great restaurants. Loved it. Maureen

A lovely 2 bed/1 bath 2nd floor duplex apartment in Capitol Hill. The 2nd bedroom is set up as an office with a sleeper sofa. The only television is in the bedroom/office upstairs. There is no television in the living room. It has everything you need for a short stay in D.C. (BYO sugar/sweetener). Unfortunately, the unit is not well insulated, so noise travels. It feels like people talking in the street and the dog barking downstairs are in the room with you. Took a while to get used to but not a deal breaker. The accommodation was as described. They responded to messages quickly. But we had problems with the shower on the second floor for all 3 days, which caused a flood on the first floor above the dining area. On the first day, we could not check in on time, because the ceiling was being repaired in the house. In the evening, there was a flood. The repairman came, again took everything apart, left dirt, construction blades, stained our towels with blood in the bathroom. On the last day, we were not allowed to pack up and check out normally without warning, without knocking, the repairman just walked into the house. We have small children, this is unacceptable. 3 days of correspondence, calls, strangers, dirt. The service is very poorly organized. For all our inconveniences, we were given $ 50 for lunch The location and size of this unit were incredible, walkable to all things. It was decorated with a high style and beautiful. However, not super practical for families as all the decor was super fragile (including the drink cart with 20 glasses on display) and so this made it less cozy for kids, it would help to have some games/puzzles and move the TV to the livingroom.<br/>We also had some major water issues while there, the shower didn't have hot water on arrival and when it got working, we had leaks raining from the ceiling in the diningroom. We reported it immediately and sojourn was responsive, they set us up to use the downstairs unit thru our stay, and we appreciated not having to move. But the coordination on repairs and communication took time through the vacation and the shower was not repaired before we left. Overall we enjoyed DC and the place was a good home base even without the water issues, but it could be made more comfortable for families.
