Exterior security cameras on property
Great place and a host that was super easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again. The location is a great area in Capital Hill neighborhood that has close cafes and a small organic grocery store within walking distance. The place was clean and had plenty of amenities, but the downsides were three issues: 1) Bathroom had no ventilation, 2) Pictures on line show a back yard, but we found out that it was off limits to guests (fair enough, but it should be up front about it in the description, 3) There was a large mouse or juvenile rat spotted in the kitchen each day of our stay. We called upon the second sighting and they sent out an extermination team to set some traps in the kitchen and living room, but we are glad that we did not see any evidence of capture (a no win situation since we were not happy about sharing the space with it!). It would have been nice to have a laundry, but it was advertised without one, so we knew what we were getting into on that front. Overall, a good place to stay if they can eliminate the rodent issue. We had a very lovely stay with our two kids. The place had everything we needed, close to metro, across the street from a park, friendly neighbors. This was a wonderful place to day!
