Start your day with a stroll on the peaceful and private beaches of the Chesapeake Bay. No need to bring beach chairs or towels we provide those for you. This one bedroom home has a stocked kitchen with all of the amenities needed for cooking a meal in. Our coffee maker is a single serve K cup coffee maker and we provide coffee pods to get you started. The home features an all in one washer dryer for small loads of laundry. Soap and Suds is conveniently located next door for larger loads as well. The living room has a 50" smart TV, we provide Netflix for premium movies and Hulu Live for cable television. The living room table conveniently pops up into a desk as well for those work form home evenings.
The bedroom has a queen bed and is outfitted in the Sojourn standard, uber soft bed sheets, down feather comforter, one set of feather pillows and one set of gel pillows for an incredible nights sleep. There are blackout curtains, a dresser for storage, a large closet with ample hanging space and a 32" TV also equipped with complimentary Netflix and Hulu. Enjoy a freshly renovated bathroom with a walk in tile shower and Lather bath products.
Beach chairs and towels are provided. A pack and play or high chair are available upon request for a $25 rental fee. The home is cooled by either a mini split system and ceiling fans or window units and ceiling fans. A window unit for the bedroom is available by request. We find these homes stay incredibly cool as the building is a solid concrete building.
This is a second floor walk up. Some furnishings may vary as we design each unit.
A code will be set for you and shared 48 hours before your arrival if you have completed our Truvi identification process.

From time to time, our homes may require preventative or emergency maintenance or during long term stays, a showing to prospective tenants. While we make every effort to avoid any interruptions to your stay, Sojourn reserves the right to access the property after providing 24 hours’ written notice. Your comfort is our priority, and we appreciate your understanding.

Traveling with little ones? We’re happy to offer Pack & Plays and high chairs for your convenience. These items must be reserved in advance and are available for a $25 rental fee per item.

Pet Policy
Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. If you’re traveling with a pet please ensure this is a pet-welcoming home. If it is not, we’d be happy to recommend one of our many pet-friendly stays.

Exterior security cameras on property
This place was lovely. Not the exact apartment space as listed but pretty much the same interior feel and look. The couch was comfy and nice and the bed was soft and plush. The shower space was a bit small but still easy enough to shower and use. Loved the little kitchenette and the combined washer and dryer was so cool. The parking lot behind the building took me a second to find but once I found it there was plenty of parking and I had no issues getting in and out every day. Loved the space, very responsive host and I 1000% will be renting again in the future! Check in was easy with the code sent 8 hours prior and checkout was even easier with not having to anything for check out. Beach is literally down the street across the little road crossing and was soooooo lovely. Loved this stay here! Can’t say enough good things about the place! Can hear the street noise a bit from the windows but no trouble sleeping through it at all. Place looked exactly like the photos in the listing and had all amenities that were described. I also liked that the beach access ramp for the public beach was a maximum of a 2 minute walk from the front door which made beach days easier. My only complaint would be the poor water pressure. I was looking for a little place right by the beach, and not too far from a few good places to eat for my stay in Norfolk. This place delivered. It's not incredibly fancy, though it's clearly been remodeled, and it's not overly spacious (your toes may tickle the shower while you sit on the toilet), but it's clean and safe, and has hosts that are very responsive. <br/>Most of all, it delivered on the location - I took my dog to the beach right across the street just about every day, and walked over to Bold Mariner brewery a couple times for dinner or a drink. It didn't take me too long to find a favorite coffee shop in the area and on my way to work, either; and it was an easy drive to downtown Norfolk, the Naval Station, or Chick's Beach. <br/>All in all, be clear on what you're getting, but I'd recommend it to a friend. Beware of them changing your booking to another location. I originally booked a beachside 2 bed apartment and got moved to a tiny one bed that was not on the beach. The outside of the building was very rundown, the door lock was loose, a shelf was coming off the wall, there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom (that had no ventilation other than a window), there was a giant pothole in the parking lot that. The couch was extremely uncomfortable. I rarely leave a bad review but this one actually deserved it.
