1) Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations. Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver. Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.View More

Exterior security cameras on property
We had a great stay, the location is excellent, close to Whole Foods and many restaurants, we were able to walk to most sights. We had a stroller and taking it up and down the stairs and through door was a bit challenging. There is only one small tv in the living room and none in either of the bedrooms, my husband can only sleep with the tv on so we were definitely missing it. The couch in the living room was uncomfortable to sit on as it’s pretty worn out and the bathroom door doesn’t lock, our toddler kept opening it. These are easy fixes. We could hear the upstairs neighbors walking around and coming up and down but I think that’s expected in every multi level apartments. Overall we liked it and would stay here again. A great stay, really nice location and very spacious. Great communication and flexibility regarding the check out process. Would highly recommend! I would have given 5 stars, but parking was unavailable during our stay, so if that's a concern of yours, make sure you message them BEFORE you book to make sure their parking spots will be available. The listing made it sound like "lots of parking options" were available for an extra fee, and nowhere did it state that parking may not be available. It was pretty inconvenient to walk 20 minutes with kids with all of our stuff. We used Spot Hero, but our parking did not allow in and out privileges, so we had to drop our stuff off at the car on check out day before our 9am tour. The host said that 2 hour parking, free weekend, and free overnight parking was available on the street, but there was NEVER an empty spot. Almost all of the spots are resident spots. <br/>So, if parking is important to you, I'd check ahead of time or skip this one.<br/>Also, unless you have young kids, don't plan to let anyone sleep on the futons. There is a big gap between the cushions with a big metal bar. We had a really good stay with Sojourn! Everything was as pictured and described. We were close to everything we wanted to do and see in DC. Would recommend this place, for sure. Sojourn was responsive and everything was great!
