1) Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that if you book a short-term rental (under 30 days), you will be contacted by Truvi directly to verify yourself. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.
2) Please confirm that you accept the following House Rules and Responsibilities on behalf of yourself and guests. A violation of the House Rules can result in an immediate termination of your reservation without refund.
For the comfort of our guests, residents and members of the Sojourn team, smoking of any kind (marijuana, cigarettes, or vaping) is not permitted anywhere in the interior of our building or within fifty (50) feet of our building, including outdoor spaces. Should our team or neighbors report the odor of smoke we will contact the booking service, terminate your stay, claim any and all damages, including but not limited to a $500 smoking fee, and post the appropriate review.
Parties and events are strictly prohibited. All Sojourn homes are equipped with noise monitoring devices (decibel readers), your privacy is safe however, noise levels exceeding normal levels are grounds for ending your stay and are strictly enforced. In the event we are notified of any excess noise, music, gathering or parties a Sojourn representative will respond and your reservation will be terminated without refund. Please also note that all Sojourn buildings and homes are equipped with some type of exterior camera that records the exterior and common areas to include all entries to the building.
What NOT to Flush Down the Toilet or put down drains or in the garbage disposal - If found that these cause plumbing issues Sojourn can and will charge the guest.

3) If you are booking a flat that allows pets the pet fee is $75 per pet per week. This only applies to pet friendly listings.
4) We are happy to provide both a Pack and Play and/or high chair. These must be reserved in advance and a $25 rental fee will be charged.
5) If you are booking a flat in Washington DC, we have several parking options. Please inquire about advanced parking pass or parking space reservations. Please note that neither Sojourn nor the property owner shall be held liable for any loss, theft, damage, or injury to the vehicle or any personal property therein, nor for any injury to the driver, passengers, or any other person, arising out of or in connection with the use of the parking space. Any use of the parking space is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner or driver. Neither Sojourn nor the owner guarantee the safety or security of any vehicle parked in the parking space and disclaims any responsibility for any acts of theft, vandalism, or other criminal activity.
6) There may be times where the home needs unexpected, or scheduled preventative maintenance. While we do our best not to interrupt your stay with us, sometimes this cannot be avoided thus Sojourn reserves the right to gain access to the properties at any time, after providing our guests with 24 hour written notice.

Amenities
This is a great place to stay while visiting D.C. The place is cozy, private, quiet, and you will feel right at home upon check-in. The host is very courteous, responsive, and flexible with your check-in time, if the circumstance allows. It’s also very close to all the places you would want to sightsee or visit in and out D.C. I truly enjoyed my stay there and won’t hesitate to book the place again when I am in the area. Great place to stay and great location. Hard to get in with the lock but they answered quickly and helped. Taylor

This is a garden unit. We missed that this was a basement apartment so just have the right expectations going into it. In the listing it’s stated that it’s “immaculately cleaned and fully renovated with high-end finishes and complete with custom designer furnishings.” That is not the case. It felt very, very dirty. The fully renovated=a poorly done flip. The patio/private balcony is not usable so don’t factor that in as an amenity. Street parking outside the unit is only 2-hour and hard to come by so factor in garage parking for your entire visit if you have a car.
Overall location was really great, extremely walkable (and a grocery store one block away) and Sojourn was very responsive when we had issues with the code at check-in. Just didn’t feel like the listing and pictures matched what you got. Cristian

Place was as great as it looks on the photos, even more.
The apartment is extremely comfortable and footprint is so good that 4 or 5 adults can live there without bumping onto each other.
The neighborhood is just perfect. Quiet neat and clean area with lots of bars and restaurants on 17th St and around DuPont Circle, Stepway market and Wine Shop just a block from the apartment, and Starbucks and metro station just two blocks away. Can’t get any better.
Definitively renting this place again on our next visit to DC.
