Pet Policy Most of our residences are pet friendly and welcome your four-legged companions. While most booking platforms include the pet fee upon reservation, any exclusions will be invoiced at $15 per pet per night for stays up to 30 days and $450 total for stays 31 days or longer. Kindly inform us of any pets joining your stay so we may update your reservation accordingly. We do love furry companions, but we do have some properties that are not pet-friendly. Mosquito Disclosure Washington, DC’s warm, humid climate makes mosquitoes common and often unavoidable during the warmer months, particularly in outdoor spaces. - 2026-08-08T18:25:30Z · 4/5: We had a very positive experience with the Sojourn staff - they were ALWAY extremely responsive - within minutes. The staff we communicated with or met on-site were polite, professional and ALWAYS followed-up. I would be very comfortable renting another property which Sojourn is managing - top notch customer service! We needed a two room apartment for an internship and wanted a place walkable to the metro, fully furnished and available short-term (10 weeks . Location was awesome - literally a 7 min walk to Metro and in the heart of Dupont. Furnishings in the apartment were what we expected and had no complaints. Being a basement apartment, we only had access from the back alleyway. There was a constant fly and mosquito issue. It made entering and exiting the apartment a nightmare. The trash cans were near our stairwell so rodents were pretty bad. These were major problems and we would have searched for another place had we known. Again, Sojourn was fantastic but pest issues.
- 2025-04-04T19:05:33Z · 5/5: My family and I stayed in this apartment for three months while our condo was being reconstructed. This was a clean, spacious apartment for our stay. The location was perfect, in Dupont Circle and very walkable. It was also a very clean and well appointed apartment. Everything we needed was there. If we had any issues, Sojourn was very responsive. The only small negative is that this is a basement apartment, so it was a little cold in the winter. But the apartment has skylights in the master bedroom, which helps with light issues associated with basements.
